Would like to invite you to our
Annual General Meeting
on
Tuesday 13th September
at
7.30pm
at the Hook Norton Brewery
Malthouse Kitchen
This year we're delighted that the meeting will be in person and will be a great opportunity to catch up with fellow members of HNCLT. We'll be sharing the latest progress with the project and talking through the next exciting steps.
All are welcome, and we look forward to seeing you.
After a report on the activities of the past year, an overview of what's to come, and a financial report, we will be asking our members to elect the Board of Directors for the year ahead.
Board Nominations
As part of our Society Rules (D2.1), HNLCT is required to elect between 5 and 12 members who must be members of the CLT. Co-optees are included in that number, but don’t have to be members.
The board collectively has overall responsibility for the organisation, makes key decisions to steer the strategic direction, and is responsible for achieving the aims of the organisation. Full Board Responsibilities are available on request, along with the Statement of Commitment, which needs to be signed within one month of election to the Board (D4.2).
Board members are elected for a period of 3 years as per clause D7.2 & D7.3. They may stand for re-election after that period if they wish, for a maximum of 9 yrs. After 9yrs they are not eligible for re-election for a further 3yrs. (D7.4).
We have vacancies for new Board Members and if you are interested in joining a busy and exciting Board, please fill in our HNCLT Board Nominations Form, by Tuesday 6th September.
All nominations approved by the current Board will be included in the list of 2022 Board Nominations that will be sent out to our contacts on Friday 9th September along with the AGM Agenda.
The election of Honorary Officers will be dealt with separately by the new Committee of Management, in accordance with the Society Rules.
We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible.
