As a voluntarily led community land trust, we depend on grants and generous contributions to bridge financial gaps and sustain our annual operational expenses. Recognising the challenges of urgent housing demands, lack of affordability, and the call for increased renewable energy, we invite your support. Your contribution will empower us to transform this compelling project into a model that can be replicated across the nation. This unique community-led project is providing 12 affordable, energy efficient, climate positive homes for local people, along with communal facilities that will increase community spirit and have a positive impact on the environment. The addition of a microgrid to generate and distribute renewable energy to the homes, will enable residents to benefit from discounted electricity bills, making the rising cost of energy easier to manage.

HNCLT will eventually have a small income from the Spare Room rent and the Community Building. That will take some time to build up, and until then, we remain a modest, volunteer-driven organisation, who depend on grants and generous contributions to bridge financial gaps and sustain our annual operational expenses.
We recognise the widespread sense of powerlessness in the face of urgent housing demands, affordability challenges, and the call for increased renewable energy.
