Would like to say a huge thankyou to everyone who came to the Application and Information event at the Memorial Hall on Wednesday 13th September

Paul France, the Strategic Housing Team Lead from Cherwell District Council explained the nominations process, and how social housing is allocated.

Alex Sheridan (Lettings Officer) and Annie Jenkins (Locality Lead) from Soha Housing explained the process from the Landlords position.

They did a fabulous job answering a variety of questions, and we are very grateful to them for giving up their time to come out to Hook Norton.

We are now looking forward to seeing lots of our members and interested contacts at our Annual General Meeting at the Brewery Malthouse Kitchen on Tuesday 26th September, starting at 7.30pm.

Now that most of the technical and legal elements of the project have been completed, we are looking for new Board members to help with the next exciting chapter of this new vibrant asset to Hook Norton.

It’s an ideal opportunity for anyone interested in living in one of the homes to have a say in what happens to the open spaces and communal building among other things. Various skills are needed, and if anyone is interested in taking up the challenge, please fill in the Online Application Form, or speak to one of the Board members at or ahead of the AGM.

Not even wild and windy weather could dampen the spirits of those who came along on July 14th to officially celebrate the start of the construction of the Bourne View homes.
